Can you trust home movers?

They say moving home is one of the most stressful experiences you might have to deal with in your lifetime. It's tough enough without running the risk that the firm you hired to transport all your possessions might not take care of them or, even worse, disappear with the whole lot. But it happens every day.
If you or someone you know is planning a move, seek recommendations about good and trustworthy movers from friends and relatives.
Check them out thoroughly online and with the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.com). Then, before you contract with them, ask for proof of their state operating license, their bonding, and their insurance.
